one time my family and i were staying in a hotel. we knew the hotel was haunted, but it was only certain rooms. we stayed in this one room that we loved, unfortauntanly for us tha air conditioner broke the next day. so tha manager gave us a deal and told us we could stay in another room for the same price. we said okay and moved. the next day my mom and i were in the main room of the hotel room getting ready to go to a restaurant, when we heard something. we turned down the tv and stopped talking. we heard a little girl laughing and a baby crying from one of the walls. we went outside and there was no rooms where the noises were coming from.
later we told the manager and he told us we had been staying in the most haunted rooms of the hotel…..

One day I put a Casper video in the VCR and for no apparent reason when I pressed the play button, there was a ghost staring at me from inside the TV. How it got in there I will never know.

Okay I believe you asked this seriously so I will give you a serious answer. My mum is a tarot reader and a medium; I only really half believed in these things. A few years ago, a close friend of mine, her sister committed suicide, and she asked if my mum could come to where it happened to make contact. Well she did and there was a lot of info that only made sense to my friend, none of that big tv audience cr*p like ‘does anyone know a John’? etc etc. I was impressed. Then they both said, sit in this chair, this is where it happened. I thought, well, I know that mind over matter is powerful, it will probably give me a shiver or something… But WOW, there was nothing scientific to describe the sensation I felt, there was no question of a mind trick, there was a vivid boundary of normal air, then cold; I sat there and it was just like a sudden breeze of cold air all over my skin – but without the breeze!! I just sat there and said wow, and my mum and my friend looked at me and said, yes, it’s real isn’t it? Scary?? No, it showed me that there really is more to this world than we know, and what mum told my friend from her sister, I’m pretty much totally convinced that there is definitely some form of life after death…

One day I was looking at YA under the science & mathematics sections to look for answers and different opinions and ideas about parapsychology (recognized as a science since 1969 by the largest science organization in the United States (links below) and several people kept posting a link to a magician with no education or training in science that has some challenge as way to scientifically provide evidence of exceptional human abilities.
That was a truly scary experience and my worst encounter involving the paranormal that far outweighed any of the night terrors I occassionaly suffer from.
Other than that footsteps that me and my family took to be an intruder so we called the police and it turned out to be unexplained. Of course it was only scary when we thought is was a living person but it was scary and could be considered paranormal (it wasn’t a living person at least).
