So I just watched paranormal activity and I don’t really get what happened…
Is it based on a true story?
Did these things actually happen?
Are the people still alive?

no, sorry bud. This wasn’t a true story. It’s a movie using the same techniques as “Blare Witch Project”. They are actors. Actually when you rent the movie look at the extras, there’s an alternate ending. There is no story that this is based on either. It’s just a story line that someone came up with that would allow you to make a really scary movie with a limited budget and it worked.

For what I know, its “based” on a true story, so like half of it’s true. The character’s in the movie are all still alive, they are actors. As for the actual people, i dunno who they are so its hard to say if they are still alive.

It’s not real what so ever! An din the theater version the chick just basically kills myka. And i don’t know about her though. In the fake versions the cops show up and try to get her.

This film was based on an event that took place in northern San Diego in 2003. The girl was convicted of killing her boyfriend after pleading insanity. The video was used in her defense during the trial.
