What Is The Study Of The Supernatural, Paranormal And Folk Lore Called?
I was just wondering if all those things such as paranormal, superstition, and the unexplained could be grouped together and what is this study called?

Yeah, parapsychology. Folklore would actually cover urban legends, myths, fairy tales, and superstitions, plus some supernatural stuff like fairies, demons, angels, and elemental forces. Also, cryptozoology would cover unexplained animal lore (like Sasquatch and Nessie), which wouldn’t necessarily be in parapsychology.

Parapsychology, yes, but anthropology and sociology also study these phenomena, mostly to find their origins, or find out how they are spread. I knew someone who called himself an “Urban Mythologist” or “Modern Mythologist”. He was obsessed with finding out as many of these myths, legends, etc, as he could and cataloging them.
