What Childhood Ghosts Stories Really Spooked You, Real Or Not?
I grew up in a very superstitious country — Hong Kong… and even being at a Catholic School, the teachers still told us stories that would defy Catholicism and their doctrine. I actually loved those stories coz they scared me to death half the time and kept me from misbehaving. Have you been told any ghosts stories as a child, maybe to find when you grew up that they were made up, false or even true? Share please.

I have an Aunt and Uncle that live upstate NY. They own many acres of land with horses and stables, a swimming hole along with a mini graveyard that dates back to the 1600′s. When my brothers and I were kids we would visit them upstate to get out of the city for a week. One grave was an Indian named Joe. So my Uncle came up with this story that Indian Joe was haunting the land because he wanted them off it. He said that during a full moon you could see his ghost. With many family members there (about 15 of us) during a full moon, my Uncle brings us up the dark road and flashes the flashlight toward the graveyard and sure enough, there is what appears to be a white gleam resembling a figure. Talk about power of suggestion. We all ran so fast we stumbled over each other. This was all made up, the gleam was a reflection of the flashlight bouncing off something. But, it sure did scare us kids and made us laugh too.
