I want to echo Sharp’s answer and endorse Carl Sagan’s book, “The Demon Haunted World.” It blew my mind! It’s well researched on the reality of witches, aliens, demons, and satanic cults. I can’t stress it enough- check this book out from the library or buy it yourself, it’s absolutely worth it!
And if you like this answer pick Sharp’s instead- he/she suggested it first

I know alot of author’s to good book’s Patrick Burn’s has several good Book’s he is held as the utmost authorities on evindence gathering . I do not know the names but just google him and you will find the book’ another author and is considered the God Father of the Paranormal is John Zaffis. he has alot of good work’s another is Father Andrew Calder who is a Paranormal Investgator and a ordained Episcopal priest and professioanl Exorcist.
