I used to visit a friend in her small city apartment. I didn’t like the place and would try to have her visit me instead.
One day, sitting in her place, the room took on the shape of a coffin as I looked up at the ceiling.
The next time, the steps to her front door had blood all over them. When I looked down again, the blood was gone.
I kept saying to her that the place was creepy and I hated it.
A few months later, she called me up to tell me she’d moved. “You’ll be glad, I’m out of that place you hated. What particularly did you not like about it?”
I told her what I’d seen–the coffin-shaped room, her bedroom, and the blood that disappeared on the front steps.
She told me her landlord, when she let him know she was moving said “Gee, sorry you are leaving. This is SUCH a hard place to rent because the tenant before you was murdered, knifed in her bed. I didn’t want to tell you because I have trouble renting the place.”
This is absolutely true.
