As for myself, I have had a couple of encounters in my life. The first was when I was younger. I was at the lake by my house, early evening, there was no one around by myself and a friend. We had just gotten out of the car and started down toward the lake when we saw a blue mist rising from the lake. As we got closer, we noticed that it was taking shape. As we neared the edge of the water, the mist turned to face us, to our surprise it was a woman, so to speak. She looked as though she was from a different era, clothing looked real vintage circa 1800′s. We gasped as we did not know what we were actually seeing. All of the sudden, she just disappeared as quick as she appeared. After talking with some of the elders of the town, we found out that around 1840 a woman was killed on the lake by her lunitic husband while boating with her 2 yr old son who also died that day. She has been seen every now and then since they say she searches for her son who drowned. She was nicknamed “The Blue Lady” by the elders years and years ago.
