go here they have lots of ghost stories
I ask this question for many reasons. I’m not a very religous/spirital person and if you pressed me on the issue, I would probably say that ghosts don’t exist. However, I have this strong desire to take up ghost hunting as a hobby. I love watching those shows on TV (Like Ghost Hunters) and I really want to know the truth regarding this phenomena. Partly for the rush of being someplace creepy, but I also think it’s a deep desire to believe in an after life of some kind.
Carl Sagan was intrigued by this concept and explored it in his book, CONTACT (and the movie based upon it).
Do atheists believe that Christians who’ve had such supernatural experiences should ignore them if they have no naturalistic explanation for them? Or how should one “process” such experiences?
I am addicted to shows about ghosts. I think the afterlife is scary, yet exciting, and sometimes wonderful to learn about. I love John Edwards. Has anyone ever gone to a psychic and really spoken to a lost loved one? or had a ghost haunting their house? or tried to contact a ghost and it actually worked? or any kind of super natural experience? Do you believe in ghosts? Heaven, Hell or limbo?
