Hey everyone, So I just watched paranormal activity and I don’t really get what happened… Is it based on a true story? Did these things actually happen? Are the people still alive?

I already have seen Saw VI, but want to go to the cinemas and there’s nothing really “scary”. I just found out Paranormal Activity is playing in my area. Should I see it tomorrow? Is it actually that scary? I find shadows and noises scary. Jump scares, while scary, are cheap to me.
