Paranormal: Paranormal World from Monster Legends.

Is There A Connection Between Electrical Towers And Paranormal Activity?

I was told that most paranormal activity occurs near electrical towers and other sources of electrical power transmission.
Is there any truth to this?

  • There is a lot of evidence to support the theory. I have just been working a case where there is a very large power source running through and very close to a house. When the homeowners bought the property( cheap I add) they had to sign a waiver for the power company absolving them from any liability in regard to the property. The entities there are very strong and honestly, I don’t think we will ever rid the property of all activity because of the power lines.
There are cases where emf sensitivity have caused halluncination. Most people don’t know that they are sensitive until testing has occurred so that is one of those things that has to be ruled out before you can say it is paranormal.

  • YES there is a connection. The electral fields of the towers can make things happen that one cannot explain, like the magnet trick where to place magnets around you and you can actually feel strange things happen to you. Our envirnoment has a lot to do with what we can see. But however most paranormal activity does not happen around these towers. The most haunted places in the world are not around electrical towers. So yes there is some truth, but the evidence is: that there are paranormal happenings in the world.

  • there is truth to the statement that many people are EM sensitive, meaning that they are sensitive to sources of electro-magnetic radiation which is what electrical towers and bad electrical wiring will throw out in large amounts.
an example of this is a person who always felt like she was being watched when in her basement. she would go there to do the laundry and always felt that someone was watching her from a specific direction. As it turned out, an electical box in the ceiling in the direction she felt she was being watched from was poorly wired and was throwing out a lot of EM. Once it was repaired, that feeling went away.
EM sensitivity is a well documented facual thing.

  • Not specifically around electrical towers. According to what I have read, paranormal activity will increase the EMF (Electrio- Motive Force) on a meter reading. Since this is a normal condition around an electrical source, I wouldn’t say it is due to paranormal activity. If I had an EMF meter, not around any electrical source, and it increased suddenly, I definitely would keep an open mind about the occurrance.

  • I agree with one of the other answers you’ve already gotten, high EMF readings are often associated with “paranormal” experiences, such as a feeling of being watched, the hair on the back of your neck standing up, etc. Your information was technically correct, just not the real spirits we all know and love. By the way, right on for telling that idiot off!! I hate people that use a forum to be an idiot, get a life , you know what I mean?! Anyway, hope my answer helped, and Happy Fourth!!

  • Good Question. But, the answer is simply — no. Not that I am Aware of. Best of My Knowledge the Paranormal Event Generates its OWN Power and it is Strong enough to Project Itself into our dimension from its origin. For the guy that answered ” there is no such thing as Paranormal” = Good luck trying to Prove that Statement!!! I felt the same way at one time. I found out that I was Terribly WRONG and that ( although Unexplainable) at this Time==== More will be Revealed as we become Capable of Understanding the Paranormal.

  • You might like to give an example of this paranormal activity you are asking about? Maybe something that to you may seem not to have a scientific explanation may be simply answered by a person with a good knowledge of the subject.

  • No,paranormal activity runs off DC.That’s why TAPS batteries are drained.Electrical towers are AC.As long as your reporting.Turn yourself in for chatting.A violation is a violation after all.

  • That is correct, electrical current is a powerful force that can reach surroundings thru electromagnetism. However it doesn’t mean that paranormal activity actually exists, this last one remains an unproven fact.

  • it could explane some paranormal experiances but not all. people been seeing and hearing spirits since the begining of time, long before there were any electricity.

  • I’ve heard this before. Electrical towers can cause paranormal type occurences, but isnt actually anything ghostly.

  • Being an electrician I have spent plenty of time around electricity and I have never experienced any paranormal activity

  • First off to the guy who says prove the paranormal doesn’t exist:
Actually YOU have to prove it exists, since you claim it does.
Second there is a direct correlation to PERCEIVED paranormal activities and electric currents. Electricity effects everything and it is one of the least commonly understood aspects of our life, thus making it easily misattributed to paranormal.
Sorry to break it to anyone but the paranormal does not exist end of story. If you claim something exists then prove it.
