Is Paranormal Activity Really As Scary As People Say It Is?
I like scary movies, but it seems like I havent been scared by a scary movie since I was in 7th grade. Is paranormal activity a legit scary movie?
If you have seen it on a scale of 1-10 how scared did you get during/after?

I know what you mean about the scary movies lately… And to me it’s not just… it’s all movies in general. Though the ones that scare you the most are the ones based on true stories it seems cause your mind tries to re-enact the realism they went through. This movie is one of those that’ll keep you up at night for a few days. I wouldn’t say it was scary, it had disturbing scenes that’ll mess your head up for a while, but all in all they were good actors dispite the lack of special effects so I’ll give it an 8 being generous.

It’s okay to watch, but by no means scary. I wouldnt waste money on watching it at the theatre. I found it online and was disapointed after hearing that it was the “scariest movie of the year”.There is nothing scary about it. They do a good job acting and making it seem like a real home video, but don’t expect to jump out of your seat like they show on the trailer. The only parts that could be considered scary are the ones you have already seen on the trailer.
It’s a one on the scale of 1-10 of being scary.

Yes it was very scary, like you’re not gonna be able to sleep the night you watch it scary…..which is what happened to me haha. But yea 10 out of 10 on the scariness factor and it was just a amazing movie in general, it really convinces you that it might be real (even though we all know it isn’t lol). And it mightve been the best movie I’ve seen this year to tell you the truth.

I saw the movie in theaters when it was playing in select theaters showings were at midnight. The hour made it a little bit spooky to start off. The movie is very scary, I love scary movie and no movie has made me scream and really scared like this one. Go watch it very good movie. I would rate it a 9.

im seeing it tonight… and this girl i no said she has never been scared by a scary movie EVER and she thinks its dumb how people get all freaked out over this movie but when she saw it for the first time she was sreaming in the movie theatre and couldnt sleep… we all freshman… lol but ima probably give it a 10 when i see it…

ok, i’m a 15 year old guy. i saw it with my dad and we both cracked up, but all of the chicks in the audience screamed like they were gonna die lol. chances are, if you’re like 99% of the population, you’re gonna scream your *** off. hope it helped

not at all to me.. i just liked the atmosphere of the movie theater, everyone was so scared and like hiding and cowering..it seemed really “over-hyped” to me. on a 1-10 scale maybe a 2 honestly..

Totally scary.
My friend and I couldn’t go to bed after. We both kept thinking something was in my room and the images and sounds from the movie kept replaying in my head.
Scale from 1-10, I definitely give it a 10.

i think that it was really sacry thought i saw it like 2 times and to tell you the truth i would raete it a 9 since it made em jump a bunch of times.

only the weak-hearted think its scary.
me & my friends laughed at the whole movie.
the only thing that made me scream was the ending.
if you like motion sickness then go for it cuz the
movie gave me alot of it.

I saw the movie a couple minutes ago and i dont know how im gonna go to sleep. It was crazy creepy.
Watch the movie and dont read any more reviews. Just watch it unless you have a sensitive heart.

I love horror, and love to be scared, the movie was creepy and suspenseful, but I kinda felt like I sat and waited for 1 good “jump scare”

No, but it’s still pretty damn scary.
It’s not insanely scary, it’s just average scary… creepy visuals and some pop-outs.

I saw it on monday since it was my birthday and it was a pretty dumb moview..I mean ya it was creapy but not scary..So not a scary movie..
I give it a 8 on quality of movie.
But a 2 on how scary it was.
