If You Believe Ghosts Are Real, Do You Believe They Can Harm You?
eg Poltergeist but are they real and if so, do you believe they can harm you and move objects?

What we call ghosts reside in margin, and we can’t see into that world unless there is a portal or the veil between worlds is thin..
All dimensions have a different vibration, we are surrounded by dimensions we cannot see, but sometimes we do get a glimpse into their world and sometimes they get a glimpse into our world; also remember our dimension is the only dimension where time is measured…
I recently read about a ghost scream which was recorded in England; a team of paranormal researchers were conducting an investigation into a haunting and 3 or 4 women were together in a room when they were taken by surprise by the appearance of a ghost, so they screamed…
The Ghost also must have been taken by surprise as it also screamed, which was recorded on their equipment..
They had the recording analysed and the result was that the scream was not of human origin; so you see we can spook the spooks just like they spook us…
About 1 km up the road from me is an old manse called St Cecilia, this is in Peterborough, Sth Aust…
This old manse hosts 5 ghosts, and the most prominent is the ghost of one of the old Bishops who lived there in the 1870′s..
A friend of mine is a psychic medium and he has been on a couple of documentaries which concern haunted places in Australia, and he has been filmed there several times…
I walk past St Cecilia’s 4 times a week, mostly at around the 9ish PM mark, but sometimes much later on my fitness walk..
I have personally seen the Bishop 3 times, up on the porch on the far left hand side of the the building…
Every time I walk past the manse all the hairs stick up on the back of my neck and I have that feeling of being watched…
Every-time I have seen the Bishop, he is looking directly at me and it sends a shiver straight up my spine..
He knows my energy and I know his, I just hope he stays where he is, as I honestly believe that there is something a wee bit sinister about him…
I will tell you what happened to me when I first moved into my cottage in the country..
One night I got outta the shower and was drying myself in the lounge room and all of a sudden I was freezing cold; I was as cold as if I were naked and out in a blizzard…
I found my winter sleeping clothes(trackie daks, thermal T-shirt and a wind-cheater) and my thick woolly Pancho and I was still shivering; the temperature in my lounge room was 26C so I should have been quite comfortable in just a pair of shorts; the entity had changed my body temperature…
This happened on 3 separate occasions and I contacted a psychic medium mate of mine and we sent him to the light..
He was an adolescent child who was just having a bit of fun, but that fun could have killed me as it is not healthy to be all rugged up in winter clothing etc when it is in fact really quite warm inside the house….
I still have one entity, and he causes me no dramas at all…

In the case of ghosts, there is no recorded account of a ghost harming anyone.
Poltergeists are not generally regarded as ghosts by most people, rather subconscious manifestations of telekinesis.
Whether they are “real” or not is another question. It is certainly true that people experience these things. Does that make them “real”? What criteria are we using to define “real”? As they are believed to exist in a non-corporeal manner, normal definitions of reality will not apply, and thus scientific or empirical proof of their existence is impossible to ascertain as they don’t fit within the parameters of scientific theory or method.

There most certainly is a recorded and documented account of a ghost harming someone and she was approached and asked if a movie could be made of her life. It’s a true story and is called “The Entity” I believe it’s still available to rent or buy for the person who stated quite incorrectly that there’s no recorded account etc….

Generally if people don’t understand something they are scared of it, just compare this to spiders, yes a few can hurt but the overwhelming majority are harmless, yet the overwhelming majority of people are scared of them.
The same analogy could be used for ghosts (if they do exist), the after life is the great hope for all sentient beings.

yes i have one in my house. so we r moving cuz it just really creeps us out to know that a man named Paul Rickerson used to live there but he also killed himself there. once, a picture fell off the wall for no reason at all. it sounded like it smashed into a million pices, but when i looked it was fine. so i put a cross in our house the next day and the next day around 3:00 i was just minding my own bussiness, watching tv, when suddenly the cross falls off the wall and lands in my fireplace that was not lit. It scard the f****** hell out of me and my mom so where moving. i think ghosts could hurt us if they wanted to.

I have witnessed a spirit moving something, so i thoroughly believe that ghost can move things, and that because they are able to move things they are also able to hurt someone or something.
I have always believed we are not the only thing on this planet(including animals etc)

Ghosts are REAL, and yes they CAN harm you, physically and mentally. this is no joke, iv lived my whole around Ghosts, and not the good kind. They usually attack you in your sleep, when we are most vunerable. Remember though we have Guardian Angels to protect us, dont let ghosts control your life seek help. there IS HELP OUT THERE.

Mentally harm, yes, but not physically. They’d need a lot of excess energy to hurt me if it was just one poltergeist i.e pinching, slapping, kicking even smoothing (all of which I have heard happened to people). If a group of them were to conduct their energy, possibly, yes.

Spirits can – yes. And you don’t have to see a ghost to have a spirit act.
Stayed at a haunted farmhouse for a week (did not know untill we stepped foot in the place). Partner was electrocuted once – and twice pushed down the stairs. Plus both of us had serious headaches in one room, and trouble breathing in another large room(which we didn’t ever use)

they only harm you cos they want to let you know that they are there but because they don’tt have the same senses as you they cant be sure what will hurt or not if you ask them or tell them that it hurt they will probably stop

no,, if you believe in ghost, (you are stupid) it can mentally harm you,, not physically.. but if you don’t, it can’t.. that’s just what i know.. ^^

i have an open mind on this but my preference on ghosts are some people sometimes see memories of dead people,memories are sent like radio signals and received years later by someone on the same frequency.

i dont belive in ghosts but people that do belive in ghosts say it is very rare for a ghost to harm you.

Yes they can, especially one looking for revenge or an evil spirit. Demons can also harm you.

poltergeists will move things but the majority of the time they cant hurt you but if there was a really bad spirit then it could hurt ya

their are bad spirits and good ones, you just have to be lucky to get one who is harmless
