I Need Evidence That Ghosts Are Not Real?
I was watching youtube videos about ghosts and now I’m afraid to go into dark places alone I’m not afraid of the numbers 666 and 616 I just need to have evidence that ghosts aren’t real.

No, there is no evidence. More, it is impossible for ghosts (or, spirits, trolls, Gods, etc.)—if they existed—to have the abilities that people say they do. We may not know much about the imaginary universe, but we understand the physics of our universe extremely well; especially things like friction and Newton’s Third Law (‘for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction’).
This means that it is impossible for any object (or person or ghost) to be able exert force on another object (for example, opening a door) and also have the ability to pass through the object (for example, a ghost or spirit passing through a closed door). It can only (and always) be one way or the other, but not both.
That means that if there are ghosts, or spirits, or Gods that can physically interact in our world – then (by Newton’s Third Law) we can ‘interact’ with them (for example, we would be able to track them down and kick the snot out of them).

All I can say is that when my grandparents died strange things started to happen around the house like my sister and I would see things move. My dad thought we were crazy and that our minds were playing tricks on us til’ one night when we were all watching tv and this one certain toy in the corner started spinning by itself and another toy turned on….

Well, I hate to tell you this, but you won’t find it, b/c ghosts are, in fact, very real. They’re the souls of the deceased. The only difference they have from you is that they no longer have a body. And most spirits will not hurt you. I’ve actually had some very beautiful experiences with spirits. I once reunited a mother and son. He’d gotten lost from her and died, froze to death, while searching his way back to her. The love I felt from her when I sent him to the other side was worth any fear I’d ever encountered at the hands of the darker side of the spirit world (yeah, there are dark spirits too, same as their are bad people in this world). My grandpa and my father and my great-grandmother come to visit me often, as do the dog I lost when I was 16 and the cat who died about 6 years ago. It isn’t all scarey, hon. Just misunderstood. Nothing to fear but fear itself.

As a few people have mentioned, you can’t “prove” that something doesn’t exist, as that essentially requires accounting for every single force and atom in the universe. Ghosts might exist but just not in the specific locality of earth, for example.
However, your best bet to not being afraid is to figure out how the hoax was performed (and chances are it was either a hoax or something easily explainable if one were to take all things into consideration). Try finding some movie special effect tutorials on the internet as see if any of them tell you how to produce similar effects as you saw in the youtube video. Remember, anything that poster either says in the movie’s blurb or in the movie itself is suspect and the conditions espoused should not be believed.

There is no reason for them to be real. Unfortunately you can’t disprove something outside of mathematics. But there is nothing in physics that would allow a disembodied spirit to exist. Likewise there is no real reason that the universe needs disembodied spirits. Some spaces have personality because they were modified while the person was alive to reflect their personality. But ghosts are nothing more than our poor brains being far too prone to believe in magic being hardwired to guess explanations for phenomena in a quite illogical manner.

i don’t know if i can help you think that they are not real. however you have to know that the average person will not encounter a ghost in their life time. some people are more suseptable than most for paranormal activity. and the likelyhood of you being one of those people is slim. if you have made it this far in life with no suprises i wouldn’t worry about one happening in the future. good luck to you and don’t worry. most encounters are quick and pleasant not at all like what you would see in movies or hear about on those ghost shows. they are meant to scare you. i have been dealing with this stuff for most of my life and the majority of what happens is i will hear my kids talking to things that aren’t there. i will feel someone tap me on the shoulder. things that i put in a certain spot will be moved. and occasionally i will smell perfumes and colognes. not that scary!

Since I’ve seen them most of my life, I can’t tell you they aren’t real. What I CAN tell you is, the more you learn about them, the less afraid you will be. Educate yourself. Most of the stuff on You Tube is bull so don’t believe everything you see on You Tube. Stick with web sites that offer real information. Most ghosts have no interest at all in harming you. Most of that is Hollywood teaching us we should be afraid. Check out http://www.ghostweb.com

2. Go into the darkness with someone and always have that person in front of you and think to yourself “The ghosts will get them first….

You can not provide evidence for something’s non existence. You could at best find no evidence to support a hypothesis. In fact some evidence for ghosts (or at least apparitions) at least as a human experience is compelling.
Those that dismiss such ideas without examining the evidence are engaging in religion not science. This is usually based on their limited understanding of physics. Quantum physics (via entangled objects) does permit one particle to effect another without any (at least detecable) connection. The ideas of Extra Sensory Perception and Psychokinesis are usually dismissed for like reasons which may play a large part in some ghostly experiences.
That said most of the videos I have seen on You Tube are obvious fakes.
In many investigations and years of study I have never heard of a ghost mugging or killing someone it’s the living that may be carrying guns that you need to be afraid of in dark places.
