How Should I Find Paranormal Research Schools Or Centers In Tn?
I am looking for a paranormal research school or center. All I’ve found are “ghost hunters” but thats not what I’m looking for I want to research and prove whether ghosts/spirits/entities are real or are they just a figment of your imagination…How would I go about that?

The scientist that have attempted that in the past and those that still work on such issues usually hold a Ph.D. (or other doctorate level degrees) in a conventional area of science (physics, psychology, biology, medicine, engineering).
Any college or university (even those in TN) offer degrees and education in at least some science.
In fairness, some researchers on this topic have degrees that are not in science like philosophy and examine the issue from that perspective.
So, it depends on how you want to approach the problem that will help you determine what area of education to pursue.
A few schools will allow you to complete a Thesis (for a Masters) or a Dissertation (for a Ph.D.) on a parapsychology topic.

To my knowledge, there are no certified schools for paranormal research. Some Universities have Parapsychology programs, but that is about the best you’re gonna find. There is no certification for paranormal research (regardless of what you see online). The “ghost hunters” that you refer to are actually doing the best they can without support from the mainstream scientific community. Maybe one day things will change, but until then you will just have to make due with the resources that are available to you (like “ghost hunters”).

Bethanie, you would have a better turn out for paranormal activity if you were to form a group of your own and only find serious minded people to participate in this.Some colleges do offer classes in parapsychology that you can take,I admire you for being interested in this field,speaking for myself,I’m an a adult and I’m 53 years old and have had several experiences over my life time that has made me a believer out of this phenomena.If you are interested enough to form a group,I would get a digital camera and a digital recorder as well and if you have access to a video camera,I would go to some place in the area that you live and try to document some evidence that may exist,any home or place that has history is a good place to start off.You may even want to try some cemeteries in your area to get some evp proof.I hope this is of some help,it’s a huge interest to me and I watch each and every show on tv that has to do with this phenomena.Go bust some ghosts!
