Has Anyone Got Any Real Life Ghost Stories They Could Tell Me???
Well, I’ll tell you in brief. I believe they don’t exist these days, but maybe they did in olden days.
Okay . Three years ago, one night, as I always do, I had a quick shower before going to bed and took my book out and settled on my bed. My parents and siblings were downstairs washing up and cleaning after dinner.
I opened my window because the weather was warm. As I was reading, I suddenly felt a gale outside . WHOOOOOSH!
I didn’t care much, and after a while I saw a pair of red eyes outside in the bushes. I decided they were concentrating on me. IT WAS DAMN SCARY! OOOOH! I never slept that night and got terrible nightmares. I still thought I never believed in ghosts, its all a make-believe, but this started to happen to me everyday. Mystery stricken! I kept hearing voices every night whispering my name. I informed my parents and THEY JUST thought I was just dreaming. They never believed it. Sooner, it stopped. That’s it. It never happened again….!!!

I know one.
In a town called “Douglas” in South East Georgia, there is a movie theatre called the “Carmike Cinema’s Martin Twin Theatre” and it is haunted.
I was the assistant manager for the place for a year and the acting manager for about 3 months.
I had always heard the rumors about the place but never really believed them. The staff even warned me about it, but I thought it was just the normal screwing with the new guy type stuff. Then one day I was working late, I was alone in the threatre doing inventory, which I know is against policy but regardless.
Anyway, so I am in the stock room and all of a sudden it got REALLY cold. As in I could see my breath cold, and this is Georgia, in the middle of Summer. Then I feel this massive sense of dread creep over me and I start hearing this noise coming from the projection booth, it sounds like scratching, I figure it is a squirrel or something that got in the building and go to check it out.
Note: I NEVER went into the projection booth alone at night EVER again after this.
Anyway, inside it is freezing, even colder than the stock room (which are right next to each other) and I am trying to find this scratching noise. It seems to be coming from all directions, and it started getting louder.
By this point I was freaked out, but then the door to the breaker room (attached to the projection room) opens up. Now I know that I was the only person there, I had the keys and the manager was out of the state at the time.
I go to look, thinking that maybe someone hid in the building after closing or something. I know that was stupid as I should have called the cops but anyway… I look in the breaker room and there is nobody in there. The room is very small, about the size of a decent closet, there is no room to hide in and nothing to hide behind.
So now I am already scared out of my wits and I start to walk out of the room, my plan is to leave the building ASAP. The door to the breaker room (which I had just stepped out of) suddenly SLAMS and I mean slams HARD.
That was enough for me. I start high tailing it out of there. I geta bout halfway across the projection booth and then I hear the door open again. I don’t know why I did what I did next but I couldn’t resist it.
I turned and looked. I will never, and I mean, NEVER, forget what I saw. It looked like a large black mass just sort of sitting there, like it was laughing at me. I dropped my clip board, I dropped my inventory sheets, and I ran like I was being chased by a rabid dog.
I shot down the stairs, left lights still running, left all the doors unlocked, and RAN to the convenience store across the street. I called a friend to come pick me up because no way, no how, was I going back to that theatre while it was still dark.
I almost quit that night but the manager, who was a good friend, talked me into staying and kind of laughed at me. He told me that there was a reason they had told me not to stay in the theatre after dark alone and that was it.
Over the time I was there I had no less than 4 serious encounters with something there. All kinds of strange stuff. Probably the most eerie was why we lost 3 janitors which is that sometimes at night, for no reason, you could hear children singing. The tune was familiar but I could never place it, and you couldn’t actually make out any words, but it was creepy… Anyway that is a different story entierly. I hope this helps.
