Ghosts, Are They Real And Have You Had A Personal Experience?
I ask this question for many reasons. I’m not a very religous/spirital person and if you pressed me on the issue, I would probably say that ghosts don’t exist. However, I have this strong desire to take up ghost hunting as a hobby. I love watching those shows on TV (Like Ghost Hunters) and I really want to know the truth regarding this phenomena. Partly for the rush of being someplace creepy, but I also think it’s a deep desire to believe in an after life of some kind.

Try Googling ghost hunters to see what you come up with. I’m glad you said you wanted to take it up as a “hobby.”

When I spent one of my school holidays at my aunt’s place, I slept alone in a store room with those Naco windows with anti burglar steel bars, one piece of its glass pane was missing.
I was sleeping facing directly to the window. I woke up to a light shining on me through the missing glass, somewhat like a weak torchlight. I thought to myself that its probably a burglar, don’t worry he can’t get through the steel bars, but to my astonishment it seems to read my mind, the light slowly drifts right through the window towards my bed. While it slowly drifts to my left and stops above and behind my head. I can only see myself and the bed through the light, everything further out is dark, pitch dark.
Oh! how my adrenalin was pumped up, sweating profusely to my racing thoughts searching for an answer to what actually is this light or thing or being.
Burglar? no human can drift through the 6 inch spaced bars.
Ghost? no way, my aunt’s house is christened with those pictures of Jesus and leaves hanging around (as I was told )
Then what the heck was that, as I was still searching for an explanation in my racing mind, the light slowly drifts to my right and slowly out to where it came from. Its like someone switching off a torchlight, all of a sudden it was pitch dark leaving a cold, sweating and panting me.
I packed my bags early in the morning. Till today I haven’t told my aunt ( she passed away few years back )
After a few months, heard her talking with my mum that her house was haunted, through a medium she was scolded before she could start to talk. The being, claimed to be our ancestor, her grandfather, he asked her why she came to check him out through the medium.
She asks how did he enter her house as he likes, as her house is christened or blessed.
She was scolded by the voice, claiming that he can come and go as he likes cos its his house. ( i think what he meant was, what’s his decendents’ are also his )
He also teach her how to get rid of the offending spirits which she did with success.
With another incident, whereby the doctors and church couldn’t help her, her whole family reverted to Buddhism or Taoism after she was cured by them.
Skeptics what say you?

Ghost chasing must always turn futile… for you can grab nothing but air. Now whether you call me a believer in ghosts or not… but if you happen to actually catch something physically then that won’t be a ghost for sure.

Ghosts are residue ‘energies’ of the past occupants be it history or recent history, whom’s energy still shares the space that occupants are presently dwelling in.
It is just energy. And Ghosts dont offer anything but a repetitive existance as their souls are stuck in the earth plane, when they go to the light their Ghost disappears.
Another form of Ghost which is not Ghost are Visitations of Spirit. The difference is they do not repeat themselves in the same way each time.
Therefore they may not be as predictable like the Ghost becomes when you are familiar with that energy just doing the same old stuff over and over not offering any reason of being.
Also spirit will not appear like that to scare and shake the living light and force out of your soul sending you psychotic like Ghosts may do. Spirit has respect….Ghosts are souless thats why they are ghostly, nothing at all it there except etheric energy remanents of the original form.
Now Poltergeist is another thing…fear manifested into the minds of man…and the more believers the stronger it becomes until it takes over and is definately ‘real’…energy is what brings this about, a combination of peoples fear. Then physical manifestations happen like the shaking of beds and slamming of doors…sending shivers of fear….just what it needs to continue manifesting…cant blame the Poltergeist it was not there to begin with until fear entered the picture. All is manifestation of mind.
Now if we put that same energy to good use imagine what we could manifest?

What most people call ghosts are unclean spirits, here to pervert our lives with their lives. When people die, their spirits either go straight to heaven (absent from the body, at one with God) of to Hades (no, not hell. Hades is sort of a holding bin until the last days) where they wait until Jesus returns to judge them. Don’t mess with “ghosts.” They will really mess with you and your eternal soul. If you wish to believe in an after life, begin by reading the gospel of John. Then, go on from there. Numbers 6:24

Yes there are ghosts or spirits but I believe that to see them. Some people are able to use a different part of their brain that most people don’t develop. I and several of my students saw a green ball of light go over us and down a staircase, this was in a old abandoned house that was supposed to be haunted.
