Yes they should. It is only right! If I moved into my apartment or when I just bought my house, I had asked the realtor if anyone has died in the apartment or house, I needed to know.

it should be ilegal not to tell!
when i was prego we paid to hold the house we wanted,turned out a little boy blew himself up in the closet{4yr. old} when i asked if somone died in there.never got refunded for later turning down the place.

Absolutely. The owner is required to disclose such things to the realtor and prospective buyers and there is a form to attach to the sales contract.
