Paranormal: Paranormal World from Monster Legends.

Do You Trust Paranormal Investigators Enough To Allow Them In Your House?

I mean do you trust their opinions? If they say you do not have paranormal activity or even if they say you do, is that enough for you?
I know some and trust them as far as their honesty but I am not sure I agree with their findings.

  • I wouldn’t trust anyone in my house without being there.
If I suspected paranormal activity in my house. I’d consider this. Paranormal Investigators are biased, they believe in it. They also want to find it. First, I’d call someone like me. Over the years I’ve checked out many reports of paranormal activity. If there was any, it stops while I’m there,100% of the time.
If after being checked out by a skeptic or ghost chaser like myself. No explanation was found. Then I would call paranormal Investigators. If I could find them. It’s not like they’re in the phone book.
Let’s be honest, most paranormal investigators are ghost hunting enthusiast clubs.

  • The first thing you have to realize is that there is no formal schooling or certification course for paranormal investigators. Anyone who watches a paranormal television show and owns a web page can call themselves one. Thus, not all investigators are equal. Before you let anyone in your house, investigator or other, you should know the person; if not personally, then by credentials. If you feel you need an investigator and contact one, do not be afraid to ask them tough questions. I would ask at the minimum, the following:
    1) What qualifies you to investigate the paranormal?
    2) What professions do you staff in your organization?
    3) How long have you professionally been investigating the paranormal?
    4) What are your methods?
    5) What do you consider evidence that qualifies a haunting?
    6) Do you look for natural causes?
    7) Do you have any references?
You will find that groups range for thrill seeking teenagers to scientists. Only let a group into your home that you feel is reliable, knowledgeable, experienced, and trustworthy. After all, it is your home.

  • I think most groups that do this, do it because they are genuinely interested and that they really care about people.
Just because they didn’t find anything doesn’t mean there isn’t anything there.
Would I trust their advice? Depends upon their expertiese. Are they novices or experts? Is it an opinion we are trusting or a statement of fact. For example: You have a residual haunting, these spirits don’t interact with the living. I’d feel comfortable if someone found that out. But if they said, it’s here, it interacts with you, but it isn’t going to harm you, then I would take that with a grain of salt.
Trusting them in my house? The group I belong to runs criminal background checks on it’s members. You might want to ask this before you leave someone alone in your home. And always, always, put away cash, credit cards, check books and jewelry when strangers are in your home. You can move it into a box or put it in the trunk of your car, or take it with you.

  • The first thing you would want to do is meet with them,Do they seem Honest? Ask questions, find out what they consider haunted.Find out if they try and find a source of the Paranormal activity. If you don’ t agree with their findings you could always get another group to come in.For some people everythings haunted and for others nothing is.
EDIT:Never leave valuables out,Just as you don’t want things stolen we don’t want to be accused of things we didn’t do. Criminal background checks establish nothing,There are loads of people that break the law and never get caught. Our group offers free removal of the ghost if one is present,so ask if this is available.

  • previous answers prove a good point. like any other profession (if you call paranormal investigation a profession), you can take advantage of people, maybe even moreso in this condition. they can say, “oh well you do have a ghost and we’ll get rid of it for a price” or the can steal your stuff
although ghost could be real, unless paranormalities affect your life, dont worry about needing investigators

  • i would try to see their opinions and decide for myself to agree or disagree.
