Can Someone Tell Me The Story Of This Movie?
The movies name is:
the one eye cat(something like that)
It is by stephen King and I love the movies he makes but this movie looks like a happy movie and not horror, could you give me some info on it. I actually think “cat” was spelled like “Kat’ but I’m not sure. The cover is of a little girl with her hands on a TV screen(sorta like from poltergeist)

The name of the movie is Ca’t Eye. If you want a lot of info go to imdb.com and type in Cat’s Eye. It’s not a happy movie though. It’s a horrible movie that makes no since and if someone told me I ever had to watch it again I might kill myself instead. Ha ha ha!

Stephen King’s “Cat’s Eye” 1985
The film consists of three stories linked together by a cat as he wanders the city, seeking out a little girl (Drew Barrymore) in order to save her from a supernatural danger. As he searches, the cat plays minor roles in the first two stories, witnessing some bizarre events: a smoker (James Woods) who is cured of his nicotine addiction by a Mafia-style organization; and a neglected wife’s lover (Robert Hays) forced by her jealous husband to play a deadly game on the ledge of a tall building. (The segments are based on Quitters, Inc. and The Ledge respectively, short stories found in King’s collection Night Shift).
In the final story, the cat has a bigger part to play. He finally finds the girl, who welcomes him and names him ‘General’. Unfortunately, General soon runs afoul of her cat-hating mother, who treacherously sends him to the local animal shelter to be put to sleep. Undaunted, the cat escapes and returns to the girl, where he confronts a miniature troll who wishes to steal her breath. After a mighty struggle, General saves the girl’s life by toppling the troll into a large fan. After the father finds irrefutable evidence of the troll’s existence (its dismembered arm), the girl’s mother finally accepts the cat, and all ends well.

There was one that came out that was called “Cats Eye”. It was not a “happy” movie though.
It was a film with many short films in it .All of them were Stephen King stories from his various short story books. The one that I think you are referring to had Drew Barrymore in it and there was a little troll type thing that would come in and “steal” the breath from children to live. The girl had a cat and the cat fought with the troll and saved the girl. But the whole thing revolved around the old wives tale of cats stealing the breath of babies, because a cat will jump on a babies chest because they smell the milk on the babies breath.
Hope that helps.
