There are demons, and there are angels. Both are spiritual beings that have been experienced by us physical beings.
Both have been around for a long time and know our dead loved ones. Demons (evil spirits) take a sick pleasure in there deception of pretending to be dead loved ones.
Good (angels) and evil (demon) spirits are real. Ghosts are not.

The best I can tell you is one I was told by someone else. Second hand knowledge that I can’t call proof.
This was in Vietnam in 1965. A UH-1 Helicopter picked up wounded from a battle to transport them to a field hospital. The helicopter was badly hit passing over the area and machine gun fire passed through the bottom of the cockpit. This was witnessed by people on the ground and they reported that the helicopter faltered for a moment but recovered and continued to the rear. At the field hospital the helicopter landed on its designated spot with no apparent difficulty. When soldiers arrived to remove the wounded the pilot and co-pilot were dead and had been dead for some time. Neither were holding the controls and both were cold to the touch. At least at that time and perhaps now as well, a helicopter cannot land automatically. The wounded were either unconscious or too injured to move themselves and none knew how to fly a helicopter anyway. So who landed the aircraft?
I got the story from my father who was wounded at the field hospital but he was not a witness himself and was told the story the day it happened. I have since heard it from others but thats the best I can say about it. I think the battle was called “Operation Starlight” but I am not sure of that either honestly.
What khard said makes perfect sense and his arguments are sound. But, we haven’t by a long shot learned all their is too know about our own world much less the universe and however many other universes may exists. His logic is hard to argue with and I won’t make the attempt but to say that “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy”
Ghosts don’t make a bit of sense but that doesn’t mean they can’t be real. They probably are not but we really don’t know.

Ghosts are pure nonsense. But lets pause a second and suppose that there *is* life after death, and that ghosts are real. What, exactly, are they doing? Where are all the well-educated ghosts who would know how to find a scientist to haunt until he could study you? For that matter, where are *any* ghosts that really have an urgent need to communicate with the living? Where are the thousands of ghosts that should flood major city streets? Why, in fact, do ghosts only appear in spooky mansions in the middle of forests?
Can ghosts influence the world on purpose? If so, do they simply have so little mass they can pass through walls (in which case their moving anything violates Newton’s first law (equal/opposite reaction)) or do they have mass that for some reason doesn’t interact with the world most of the time (in which case by what mechanism do they cause it to influence the “real” world *some* of the time, and in fact where did this mass come from at death?). Why don’t ghosts go flying off into space if they don’t interact with matter most of the time?
Do ghosts produce heat or electromagnetic radiation? Where does this energy come from, or why can they violate the laws of thermodynamics?
Do ghosts reflect light? If so by what mechanism? Light reflection off ordinary matter is fairly well understood, but why does light hit ghosts when a wall doesn’t?
In ordinary humans the consciousness is the interaction of chemical and electrical signals in the brain. How is that preserved after death and transferred to a ghost, however imperfectly?
How exactly did life after death evolve, seeing as no other animals leave ghosts and the extremely limited appearances of ghosts have no effect on how well a species survives?
And why does nobody ever see a ghost seconds after a person dies?
These questions (especially the one about where ghosts choose to appear, namely haunted houses) make much more sense if you accept that ghosts are just figments of our imagination. So many people see “ghosts” for several reasons – first there’s the fact that “ghost” can cover anything from a perfectly solid but somehow spooky looking person to a white sheet blowing in the breeze, to a slightly colder (or warmer) then usual patch of air. And next there’s the fact that so many people believe in ghosts – it’s a proven fact that UFO sightings are far more common right after a well publicized UFO sightings – people see what they’re looking for. Which brings us to our final point – people look for ghosts in “haunted” places, and want to find them… so they do.
In short: ghosts make no coherent sense and the factors that make them more likely to be seen are how spooky a place looks and how much the person looking believes there are ghosts about.

Seeing as the soul is not immortal (Genesis 2:7; 3:19), and there are said to be only 3 places the soul is resurrected to, heaven (Revelation 20:4-6), physical form on earth (Psalm 31:1-40), and many Christian sects says a fiery hell (which is actually the second death, not a literal place of burning alive; Revelation 20:14), that leaves only one type of spirit creature that “haunts”, and that would be demons, because they certainly are not holy angels. (Isaiah 13:21)
I have had my experiences and they were always very clearly demons.
Why do people think they are the ghosts of humans? “The god of this system of things [Satan, leader of the demons] has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” (2 Corinthians 4:1-6) “Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
So Satan or any of his demons, has the ability to take any appearance he chooses, even that of a child if they so choose.

Ghosts are like little orbs of energy. It kind of depends on what you think they are. Like if you take pictures, you can sometimes see little orbs in the picture. For instance, after my best friend won Homecoming Lady, me and her took a picture in her living room and when we looked at the picture, there were two orbs above our heads. Not directly above, but like off to the side. And her step dad said that they were spirits coming down to watch over us. It all depends on what you choose to believe

I havent had experience from one, and never want to. Ghost will just make you turn paranoid once you start your research about them. But my friend told me a story about her grandma.
Her grandma passed away and they went to church for the funeral. Once everyone was left after the funeral my friend went to see her grandma one last time. As she went she saw this sort of statue frame moving ahead. She came closer it vanishedf

No, ghosts are not real.
Overactive imaginations, however, *are* real. And things that go ‘bump in the night’ are usually cats, cooling water pipes, expanding floor joints, or a really nasty burglar climbing in through your kitchen window!

Ghosts are just spirits. I cant you a story….Ghost is just another word for spirit so when someone says they saw a ghost, that means they saw someone’s spirit or a demon.

Ghosts exist as an indictment of our educational system. That anyone can speak this nonsense implies we have failed as educators to promote critical thinking.

I haven’t had any personal experiences, but I also think that “ghosts” are actually evil spirits trying to deceive people.
