Any Good Places In Iowa That I Can Visit To Experience The Paranormal?

I’ve visited the Mason House Inn in Bettensport, Iowa but nothing seemed to happen… or at least none of the guests reported any activity. Can anyone tell me of some “almost-guaranteed places” (cuz nothing is guaranteed) where i can experience paranormal activity in Iowa, USA? I’d really like to experience something

  • you can look on Shadowlands web site. they have state by state locations you can take advantage of. however I think it would be fair to tell you that not all the info is accurate and they are not big on correcting it either.
One place in Iowa that I always wanted to go to for an investigation is what is known as Villisca Murder House. There are several web sites about the murders and the hauntings.

  • check out this site it tells of places in every state.http://theshadowlands.net/places/iowa.ht…

  • I have been to many “haunted” houses. I have yet to experience anything paranormal. The TAPS guys have been to many as well. Nothing has happened for them either. If you are being honest with yourself you will find that you probably won’t experience anything at any haunted house. If that’s the case, are you willing to accept the possibility that ghosts don’t exist?

  • try google

  • Take a look at the link below.
Shadowlands (already posted) is a great source as well.

    The Villisca Axe Murders
Almost 95 years ago, long before serial killers and mass murders had become a way of life, two adults and 6 children were found brutally murdered in their beds in the small mid-western town of Villisca Iowa.
During the weeks that followed, life in this small town changed drastically.
Hardware stores ran out of locks and weapons as townspeople armed themselves against an unknown assailant. Newspaper reporters and private detectives flooded the streets. Accusations, rumors and suspicion ran rampant among friends and families. Bloodhounds were brought in. Law enforcement agencies from neighboring counties and states joined forces. Hundreds of interviews filled thousands of pages.
